Day 1: 2021/2022 Arrival-Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport you will be met and transferred to Gran Melia Arusha for overnight on Bed and breakfast
Day 2 & 3: 2021/2022 Arusha- North Serengeti
Today at 7am you will be picked and drive to Arusha airport for your 9:45 am flight to Kogatende airstrip in Northern Serengeti for your 2days full game drive in this northern part of Serengeti (where the migration should be in July /August) near the Mara River in the hopes of seeing some of the migratory crossing.
Overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Tented Camp.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.
Drinking water will be provided every day per person.
The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest endless migration in search for fresh pastures. Each year they trek over 2,500km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is at Serengeti
Day 4: 2021/2022 North Serengeti- Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you will drive to central Serengeti and enjoy game drive on the way.
Overnight at Serengeti Melia Lodge.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person.
The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June – November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lion and leopard.
Day 5: 2021/2022 Full Central Serengeti
After breakfast, starting your full day game drive in central Serengeti

The Serengeti National Park is the world’s last great wildlife refuge as it contains an estimated three million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature’s wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq kms and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai ‘Siringet’, meaning endless plains.
Day 6: 2021/2022 Serengeti-Ngorongoro.
Have the morning Serengeti and then after lunch drive to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater to overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person.
There are several documented resident lion prides just within a one-hour game drive radius from Seronera. During the dry season, the resident prides begin to shift west and north in their territories and concentrate in the central region of the park. The dry season is a particularly good time for lion viewing in the Central Serengeti The Central Serengeti is also one of the best areas in Africa to spot the elusive leopard. You may be lucky enough to encounter this majestic cat in the branches of the sausage trees that dot the banks of the Seronera River.
Day 7: 2021/2022 Ngorongoro- Zanzibar
Wake up early for a Crater game tour
After game drive you will drive back to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Zanzibar, when you arrival Zanzibar you will be met and transfer to Zanzibar Serena Inn for overnight.
Breakfast and lunch provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person.
Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometres wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest.
Day 8: 2021/2022 Zanzibar
At 9am you will be picked from the hotel and taken on a Stone Tour which will take you through fabled Stone town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the house of wonders, the palace museum (People’s Palace), Dr Livingston’s house and the Arab fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques.
After lunch, you will be taken by boat to Prison Island to see the turtles and you have snorkeling.
Later you will be taken to Riu Palace Zanzibar at Nungwi, on the northern tip of Zanzibar Island. This is the best beach section of Zanzibar
Day 9 & 10: 2021/2022 North Zanzibar
Enjoy the beach!
Overnight at Riu Palace Zanzibar
Note that there are generally no ATM’s in the beach area so best to exchange/withdraw cash in Stone town before continuing to the north of Zanzibar. Please also note, there is a ~5% bank imposed surcharge on all credit/debit card transactions across the Island
Day 11 : 2021/2022 Zanzibar- Departure
Today you will be picked up and transferred to the Zanzibar Airport for your back home
