12 Days Awesome Safari to Tanzania & Kenya Parks

Day 1: 2021/2022 Arrival – Arusha

Upon arrival at kilimanjaro International airport you will be met and transferred to Tulia hotel for overnight you will be booked at this hotel on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: 2021/2022 Arusha – Lake Manyara

Today after breakfast, you will be picked up from Arusha by your safari guide and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.

Overnight at Tloma Lodge.

Breakfast, Lunch and dinner will be provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person.

Lake Manyara is a beautiful little park which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park is home to an amazing variety of birds and animals considering its small size. A short visit to this serene park will greatly diversify your safari experience as the lush green jungle habitat is of stark contrast to the other parks you will visit during your safari.

Day 3: 2021/2022 Ngorongoro – Serengeti

After breakfast descend into the crater for a crater game drive. Later on you will drive to Serengeti for overnight at Katikati Tented Camp.

Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometres wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest.

Day 4: 2021/2022 Full Serengeti

Today after breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari guide for your game drive in Serengeti National Park. Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp.

The Serengeti National Park is the world’s last great wildlife refuge as it contains an estimated three million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature’s wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq kms and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai ‘Siringet’, meaning endless plains.

Day 5 & 6: 2021/2022 Northern Serengeti

Today you will drive to northern part of Serengeti near the Mara River in the hopes of seeing some of the migratory crossing. Overnight at Mara Kati Kati Tented Camp.

Drinking water will be provided every day per person.

The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest endless migration in search for fresh pastures. Each year they trek over 2,500km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is.

Day 7: 2021/2022 Serengeti – Masai Mara

After breakfast you will have morning game drive and driving to Isebania Tanzania/Kenya Boarder and get your visa and then drive to Masai Mara game reserve.

Overnight at Fisi Camp.

Masai Mara is the home of the big 5 as well as the best place to witness the annual wildebeest migration taking place this between Masai Mara and Serengeti in Tanzania .Lunch break en-route so that you drive straight to the park for your afternoon game drive until late evening.

Day 8 & 9: 2021/2022 Masai Mara

Today you will be picked by safari guide and drive for game drive in Masai Mara game reserve Enjoy game drive before moving onto Fisi Camp.

Masai Mara is situated in the southwest of Kenya, covering an area of 1 510 square km (583 square miles), the Masai Mara National Reserve is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife and endless plains. The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions, as the reserve is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game, including the more than two million wildebeest, zebras and other antelopes that make up the famous Great Migration.

Day 10: 2021/2022 Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

Today after the breakfast you will be picked by your safari guide and drive to Lake Nakuru national park, for your game drive. Enjoy the afternoon game drive before move to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge for overnight.

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake’s abundance of algae used to attract a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lined the shore.

Day 11 : 2021/ 2022 Lake Nakuru –Nairobi

Today you will have a half day game drive in Lake Nakuru National park before drive to Nairobi for overnight at Ibis Style.

Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will have the chance to see some of the 350 bird species that have been recorded here. This is also home to the black and white rhinoceros. Indeed, this park was established for the protection of species such as the rhino, Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes and a variety of plain antelope.

Day 12: 2021/2022 Nairobi-Departure

Today you will be picked from the hotel and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your flight back home.
